Why did the SacconeJoly's delete all their YouTube videos?

The SacconeJolys are a family of 6 who have a vlogging channel on YouTube called 'SacconeJolys'. They post weekly videos of what the family is doing and document most of their lives. Recently, the main owner of the channel, Jonathan, had deleted all of his YouTube videos and then says he regrets his YouTube career. He posts daily TikTok videos about how he feels and spoke out recently about why he deleted all his YouTube video's. He also posted a YouTube video about it...

The Sacconejolys have 1.72 million subscribers and 161 videos posted on their YouTube channel. Since deleting all their videos, they then re-uploaded them all back to YouTube and has started to post again.

Jonathan was asked why he deleted all his YouTube videos and he said so 'his children can curate their own life story on the internet'. Jonathan was born on the 13th of February, 1980, in Ireland. He is now 42 years old. Jonathan has recently brought out a book called 'All My Friends Are Invisible Jonathan Joly'. Jonathan said that when he was a child he felt like he didn't fit in and didn't feel right in his own body. Jonathan has opened up about him questioning his identify and wish he opened up to it more when he was a child. He created a book about how when he was younger he would make up invisible friends to talk too as he struggled to connect with people at a young age. Jonathan felt disconnected. He felt like he wasn't a boy when he was younger but everyone around him told him that he wasn't a girl. Jonathan felt like he kept being dragged in to the world of a 'boys life' and found as he grew older to find it more difficult to hide his true self.He hid his true self for most of his life. He says that his invisible friends when he was younger saved his life. He decided to write a book about his imaginary world and friends to share his past life to people and open up more. He feels he might be able to help people who need a world to escape too and is showing what world saved him. Jonathan now speaks of himself as a non binary dad of 4.

Jonathan has a wife called Anna Saccone Joly. They met in 2005 through working on a music shoot video. Anna was born on the 3rd of November, 1987 and is now 34 years old. Anna actually started her own YouTube channel years ago as she used it as a way to make friends, she had no intention for getting popularity or fame from it. She posted her first video 13 years ago which was called 'Tk Maxx Photoshoot'. She was 20 years old when starting her YouTube channel. Jonathan then jumped on the business side of YouTube and wanted to make a way of earning a living. Anna still posts to her YouTube channel to this day. She has 1.07 million subscribers and 1304 videos posted. Anna posts 2 day in the week and her content can be routines, tags/trends and vlogs. She involves her kids and speaks all things mum life and everyday struggles.

The couple have 4 kids together Emilia who is 9, Edie who is 8, Alessia who is 5 and Andrea who is 3 years old. The kids feature in the videos of the Saccone Joly channel and have done since they were babies.

The family have recently got their YouTube video's back on the channel from deleting them all. The family themselves have been getting a lot of hate from their TikTok viewers. Jonathan has been getting backlash for what his answers were when he was on The Stacey Dooley show where she went and stayed at his house for the weekend. The show is called 'Stacey Sleeps over'.

Stacey asks them about why they have documented the whole of their children's lives online which the kids might hate them for when they grow up, which at some point throughout the episode Jonathan gets annoyed for.

The family share lots of videos on the app 'Tik Tok', but recently have had lots of hate on there thats more to do with Jonathan and his second oldest child, Edie. This is because Edie was once named Edwardo and was a boy when he was born and as he has grown up he has been wanting to play with his sisters toys and dress like his sisters. Jonathan has shared lots of videos about this and has helped transform his son with being comfortable with himself. They recently made a video about changing Edie's name to her name now. Edie says that she feels like a girl and is a girl. A lot of their followers are fine with Edie changing genders but doesn't like the fact how Jonathan exposes Edie on Tik Tok and feels that its not fair to show that much of Edie's struggles as she might want them gone when she's older. The followers feel that Jonathan stages Edie's words and how she feels in their videos and that Edie is being pushed to change gender. People have been saying that because Jonathan struggled with his gender his now trying to push that on Edie. The followers have been showing thier opinions to the extent where Jonathan has had to go back and explain what he has done and why. This has also become massive online, transgender people have been sharing their opinion on this family and one said that she does feel that Jonathan is pushing Edie to change her way of thinking and gender. Jonathan speaks upon learning as he is going and speaks about his biggest regrets on one of his latest YouTube videos called 'Our biggest regrets (Live stream' and has also made videos about this on Tik Tok replying back to hate comments.
